PRDtech Voices presents Qmunity Movie night in the Auditorium! Snacks and beverages provided! For our first showing, we will be watching The Celluloid Closet.
We will be showing movies that center around LGBTQ issues and subjects. Movies are one of the very first ways that the LGBTQ community became more visible, and the relatively few that exist are still important for our visibility and the way that larger society treats us. The goal is to provide a space for 1871 community members to gather and to learn about experiences unique to the LGBTQ+ community through the lens of media. We’d like to encourage discussion about how 1871, as a community, can be aware and address any challenges if and when we see them.
