Chicago Blockchain Project loosely defines a "blockchain" as a community-owned organization creating trust in the validity of information through software.

There are plenty of questions surrounding the terms involved in blockchain. At this meetup CBP hopes to answer some of them beginning with a presentation from Disruption Joe and continuing on with a panel of local blockchain experts w/open Q and A from the audience.

Have you been confused or frustrated by the terminology in blockchain being misused and misunderstood? There doesn't seem to be a clear definition of "decentralization". What exactly is meant by "hashing" or "UTXO".
