Join Docademia to watch breathtaking documentaries and celebrate winners of their 2nd Short Doc Contest on Women's Rights to Public Spaces!

An evening of film screenings, discussion, and dialogue with directors, filmmakers, and educators from around the world. This year's award ceremony will present the best movies of the 2017 contest on challenges for women in public spaces from 112 countries, and will include the announcement of the top 3 winners among 1018 film submissions to our contest.

This event is organized with the support of: 1871 Chicago, Purdue Foundry at Purdue University, West Lafayette, CMEC at Purdue University Northwest, and Chicago Media Project.
