This week it finally feels like summer in Chicago, and while that means beaches and festivals in our great city, it also means more shootings and violence. But it doesn't have to be that way.

Please join us to hear from a true innovator and disruptor, a founder and a team that have built and proven a hugely effective way of reducing violence that is getting results and has been embraced by communities, cities around the world, and even the World Health Organization. And it's an idea that was built here in Chicago.

The event is a free and informational cocktail hour at 1871.Bring a friend, bring several. It's vital that more people know about this alternative approach to dealing with one of our city's most pressing problems. Please RSVP by getting a ticket so we know you're coming.
