Technology is proven to enhance caregiving. While 71% of families are interested in using technology to assist caregiving, in 2016, only 7% used it (AARP 2016). The biggest cited barrier is lack of awareness. There is no up-to-date, consolidated marketplace for dementia assistive technology; it is difficult to make educated decisions about caregiving technologies due to a lack of visibility about (a) what options exist and (b) how products help.
