About Web Analytics Wednesday (WAW): Web Analytics Wednesday is a community and series of events with the goal of bringing analytics professionals together to network and share challenges and solutions within the digital analytics industry. Our hope is that we create awareness of strategies, trends and tools in analytics as well as bringing the analytics community together for discussion. WAW is a networking and knowledge sharing event, not intended for sales pitches or solicitation. WAW has successfully taken place in InfoTrust’s Cincinnati and Dubai offices for years now, and we are very excited to bring the event to Chicago!
Kim Brown: Kim Brown is a digital and growth executive, nationally-renowned speaker, author and consultant, and founder of Centrally Human and Chicago Women in Big Data. She has a background with companies such as GE, Acxiom, Hyatt and American Family Insurance and has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwestern University. With experience across multiple industries, Kim has managed more than $1 billion in digital assets and has lead international digital teams to high levels of success. She has a range of digital experience including building some of the first digital marketing campaigns with Google and Microsoft; one of the first to tap the Twitter firehose for social listening; evangelizing and teaching companies about 1st and 3rd party data privacy, storage and usage; leveraging Apache open source to generate business solutions. Regardless of the industry or business challenge, she has a proven and prominent track record of driving strategy and outcomes businesses need to succeed. Her upcoming book is titled “Centrally Human: Harness the Soul of Your Brand for the Future of Your Company”

Melanie has been in the digital space for over seven years working on both the agency side and client side. She has been involved with the development of digital and optimization strategies for both SMBs and fortune 500 companies. Specializing in digital transformation, Melanie has been a catalyst for helping businesses increase traffic, improve customer experience and increase conversions and revenue.Melanie Bowles is currently a Lead Analytics Consultant at Infotrust where she partners with executives to define analytics strategy, analyze data and evaluate the business impact of digital experiences. Melanie holds a BS in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University.
