Participants will work together in small teams to explore, identify and prototype tools to help patients navigate challenges in the healthcare industry and access the best possible care. Speakers will present participants with information on the challenges patients face, how patients view quality metrics, and other tools for matching patients with high-quality, low-cost care options.
We welcome industry practitioners who want to build tools for use in hospitals, insurance networks and other professional settings, as well as developers, advocates, students and patients seeking to empower consumers with tools for making more informed choices about their health care.
- Grand Prize: The winning team will receive $1,000 prize and three free, 3-month memberships to MATTER Chicago.
- Yelp Prize: One winning team will receive $1,000 for their best use of the Yelp Fusion API.
