About Jilea Hemmings
Jilea is a staunch believer in the power of entrepreneurship. A successful career revamping Fortune 500 companies was not enough for her entrepreneurial spirit, so Jilea began focusing her passion in startups. She has successfully built 6 startups to date: Eshe Consulting - a consulting agency, Best Tyme - a health tech company, Leaf Tyme - a cannabis tech startup, Greenie Tots - a meatless entree line for kids, and Green Nyle - a virtual on demand coaching platform. Her passion for entrepreneurship continues to flourish with the development of Stretchy Hair Care, focusing on relieving the pain associated with detangling and styling natural black hair.

Jilea is the creator and host of three podcasts series: The Green Nyle Podcast, The Untold Truth with Jilea Hemmings, and Tender Heads Matter. Her work in business development expands beyond the current generation to the next with her program, I am Kid Boss. The program reaches out to inner city kids and offers them the same personal mentorship and tools to start their own successful companies that Jilea gives to her clients. Being named one of South Florida’s 25 Most Influential & Prominent Black Women in Business by Legacy Magazine and a SXSW Release It Finalist are a few capstones of Jilea’s impressive resume. Jilea is an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and is an influential speaker promoting the important role of women in technology. She believes that there should be no boundaries—neither class, race, nor gender—that should stand in the way of being able to use one’s purpose, passion, strengths, and talents to fuel entrepreneurial endeavors.
